Rice Paper Scissors is a Vietnamese eatery run by two native Californians, Valerie Luu and Katie Kwan. Inspired by the street food and sidewalk dining they experienced in Vietnam, they decided to bring those flavors to San Francisco. Their dishes combine regional Vietnamese with California sensibilities – one taste and you'll be hooked. They're located inside Brick & Mortar Music Hall. When the city opened a skate park across the street last year, we decided to collaborate on a skateboard together. The skateboard design is based on those little pink THANK YOU takeout bags. Keep payin' forward, y'all.

What sounds like a better afternoon than cruisin' on your board and snackin' on some delicious treats? We hit Chinatown with Eric Ehler to shoot the board and shoot the breeze.

*Zines of our Chinatown photoshoot are available in the shop.

After China Banks, we headed over to Grant Avenue for more.

After a couple hours skating, we took a snack break at VIP Bakery with lots of treats and Vitasoy (of course).

We ran around acting like kids till the sun went down and the neon glowed bright. Li Po Lounge was the perfect spot to end our day with some Buddha beer and Fernet.
